internships allow both Interns and Host Organizations to point
proudly to their participation in the program.
Career Edge has developed three key tools to ensure program
quality:

All Host
Organizations and Interns sign Career Edge's Code
of Conduct and Workplace Practices. |

A toll-free
telephone number through which Interns and Host Organizations
access on-going support. |

A Program
Satisfaction Index (PSI). Developed by Goldfarb Consultants,
the PSI provides regular feedback on the experiences
of Host Organizations, Coaches and Interns. Career
Edge shares the aggregate results of the PSI with
Host Organizations and uses the information gathered
from the PSI to make continuous improvements to the
program. |
Career Edge stipulates that all
internships:

be both challenging and meaningful, allowing Interns
to gain general experience and develop some specific
career-related skills. |

Are newly
created positions and do not replace permanent positions
or other education-sponsored programs. |
